Before leaving Zimbabwe to settle in Colorado, USA, Mike provided geological consulting services to several prospectors and mining companies, obtaining excellent results and references ( Casmyn Mining Zimbabwe, Falcon Gold Zimbabwe Limited, John Mack & Co.) His services included geological mapping, geo-chemical soil surveys, diamond drill planning, core logging, mine modeling, ore reserve calculations and mineral property evaluations.

 

Subsequent to immigrating to Colorado, Mike obtained his Masters degree with a large emphasis on Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Advanced Remote Sensing and Applied Statistics to enhanced the value of his geology skills. During his studies, Mike was selected by the American National Science Foundation as a research student at Oklahoma State University, where he used GIS and GPS technology in his research and also obtained certification with Trimble GPS. He subsequently presented his research findings at the Association off American Geographers in Denver, Colorado, in 2004 and completed his Masters with a GPA of 3.96.   

 

As well as providing a variety of geological services to cater for mineral exploration programs Mike, being a Certified Professional Geologist, offers site visits for feasibility studies, ore-body evaluations, sensitivity analysis and technical report compilations ( NI 43-101) at all stages of exploration and mine development, 

 

Medusa Geo-Consulting also specializes in online services for clients who need geological and investment information on their mineral properties and/or concessions. Mineral properties are thoroughly analyzed for their potential and value through a database management system and all information is kept strictly confidential and conveyed to clients at short notice if so desired.
